Journal, Day 20 "The human I've captured appears to understand language and even responds well to basic commands! He rambles incessantly that humans used to rule the earth, and something about a spaceship? These creatures have such imaginations. Since when were humans the dominant race? Ridiculous."

Day 22 "I had a dream about the human, we were [scribbled ink, crossed out]. The indescribable pleasure washing over my body like a thousand waterfalls. Spending a whole day getting to know this creature has me enamored. This whole situation is unfathomable."

Day 23 "I can't stop thinking about that dream, shaking with a need that keeps burrowing deeper the more I fight it. With any luck I can try to recreate the same scenario. I've sent the scouts to venture ahead to clear a path a couple leagues out. This human may not know our mating rituals, but definitely will respond to the surprise I have in store for him.
