I feel so dumb, but using img2img to upscale and image with a low denoise number definitely upscales better then other upscale options like ersgan. The silver lining is that I found out about the 4x UniScale_Restore ersgan model, it's pretty good at removing jpeg artifacts and I've been using that for a lot of other stuff. <3
