Here's the man of the hour himself, Sonata. One might be inclined to ask, "What's with the scars, big guy?" He didn't particularly grow up in the best of neighborhoods. But, he's left that past well behind. Mostly. Occupation? Lawyer... Which has some complicated implications for his newfound relationship with Embril and her family, which just so happens to be extremely influential in their city.

Sonata was the prosecuting attorney for Embril's brother's trial, and is responsible for putting him away for life. Granted, her brother did kill a couple cops, but it doesn't change the fact that Sonata put him behind bars. While Sonata is well aware of who he's begun getting emotionally invested with, he's decided to continue his efforts.
