PART 1

I was the only female wolf adventurer in my party. A rare sight, but I had
earned my place through my fighting skills. My name is Lyra and today
would be a day of adventure and glory for me and my team!
We were exploring an abandoned mine shaft when suddenly, the ground gave
way beneath my feet and I fell into blackness. My scream was muffled by
the sticky, gooey substance that engulfed my body in seconds. As I
struggled to free myself from its grip, I could feel it slithering over
every inch of my furry form, tightening its hold on me.
My team stood above me, shock and fear written all over their faces. They
tried to pull me out, but the slime held on tighter than any monster we'd
faced before. I knew they would have to leave me behind if they wanted any
chance of survival themselves. And so, with heavy hearts, they reluctantly
turned and continued their journey without me.
