Cranky Boi

Loko was cranky (from the lack of approvals), but he's doing alright now. Told you I'll do a 180 from SFW to NSFW.

Now the fun part: How I generated this

It started off on Friday, May 8th, 2026, when I was trying to find some quality checkpoint models and LoRAs to get good generations of Disney-esque images. Knowing that downloading them will take a good chunk of space on my MacBook, I deleted some stuff that have already been backed-up. I barely had enough space after downloading them as importing them into Draw Things (an app for generating images and videos on Apple devices) also eats up space.

Once they were imported, that's where the generating part begins. Like any gambler at a casino or a doomscroller on social media, I mindlessly generated images of the cranky doggo, tweaking the settings and/or changing checkpoint/LoRA models on each iteration to see what works. Generated 26 images in total, each taking around 4-5 minutes. With time being used up and now having images that can be used, I picked one that I feel that I can probably work on.

Here are the settings to for the image that I picked (checkpoint and Lora model found on Civitai):

Checkpoint Model (this one is a big boi in terms of size, twice the size compared to other checkpoints as I wanted something that was higher quality): Wild Safari v2.0
LoRA Model 1: Disney Animation [Illustrious]
LoRA Model 1 Strength: 1 (100%)
Size: 768x1152
Steps: 30
CFG: 4
Sampler: Euler Ancestral
Upscaler: Remacri (200%)
High Resolution Fix 1st Pass Size: 640x960
2nd Pass Strength: 0.75 (75%)

[Prompt: disney_animation
masterpiece, best quality, amazing quality
solo
canine, border collie, feral, male, black fur, white fur, dipstick tail, brown eyes, sheath, balls, blue baseball cap, orange collar, lying down, on back, on sofa, looking at viewer, annoyed, teeth]

^The different lines in the same prompt is supposed to be the "BREAK" for Draw Things. It's different from Comfy workflows from what I heard. Prompted without square brackets.

[Negative Prompt: bad quality, worst quality, worst detail, sketch, censor]

I also use this LoRA separately to improve the quality of the eyes by inpainting with a different prompt: BTETS [v1.0noob]

There were some small details that were bothersome to me, like some snarly lines, the mouth, a small watermark, et cetera. My dog brain told me to use Procreate (an iPad app that I have not used for around a year, so I kind of had to relearn on the fly for this) for some manual work. I also fought tooth and nail, literally, had to fix the teeth and add outlines for them, while having to add a missing claw on Loko's right paw. In the middle of it, a relative saw me drawing on my iPad with an Apple Pencil, and was curious what I was drawing. I told them that I was drawing NSFW stuff, which led to an awkward reaction... ha.

Just when things seem to go right, I found unintended black lines on the couch (reason: I was not using a drawing glove, like the dumba$$ I am, I'll have to find it if I do something like this again). Trying to think quick, I uploaded the image to Civitai so I can download it on my phone. There's an app that I use that has proprietary image editing models that I use often. None of them work because the image (input) and/or the output was probably flagged as NSFW (like the sheath and balls being visible). I ended up using Qwen Image Edit 2511 (6-bit) along with Qwen Image Edit 2509 Lightning 4-Step 1.0 (weight of 100%, should've used the 2511 version, but whatever) in Draw Things.

[Here's the prompt for that as well: Remove the symbol from the blue hat. Remove the black stains on the sofa. Enhance the quality of the image.]

And this how I got this final image. This took several hours, along with a varied (though unorganized) workflow to finish it. I wrote a lot here because maybe someone would find this interesting, or chuckle several times when reading through this whole journey.

And now for the final question, will this be approved? Let's find out... It's approved! Yippee!
