Description

In my last picture, someone asked if I could try drawing a panther. Until then, I wasn't really aware that it was a leopard or jaguar with a real dark coat.

Quote from Wikipedia:

“Leopard (Panthera pardus) or jaguar (Panthera onca) whose coat is completely black instead of the usual black rosettes on a golden-yellow background. Under favorable lighting conditions, however, the actual spotted coat pattern is still visible. This is a form of melanism.”
