Topic: Looking for suggestions

Posted under AI Art Tutorials

Maybe this is already a topic on the forums but since there’s so many posts already I’ll just make a new one. So I’m looking to improve my AI furry art and was looking for some suggestions on sites/apps that would give me the quality art that I see on here. I would also love tips on how to write perfect prompts including the best keywords to use for negative prompts. Any suggestions are much appreciated, DM me.

... perfect prompts ...

There's no such thing.

Most of the gens you'll see posted here are done locally. Local setup gives you the most control and has the most different options and tools available.

For online services there are a ton of different ones but typically they come in tiers:

Free with No Account Required:

These are the easiest to use since you just go to the site and type in the prompt, but they tend to have the lowest quality. Options here include:

Frosting.ai - https://frosting.ai/welcome
Perchance.org - https://perchance.org/ai-text-to-image-generator
Mobians.ai - https://mobians.ai/ (focused on Sonic character but can do more)

Note that since the quality of these is lower, without a lot of editing/clean-up they usually aren't posting quality for e6ai and will probably be taken down by the mod staff.

Limited Free Gens with Free Account:

Many sites are available that give you a limited number of free gens but you need to create an account. They often have an on-site currency and expect you to pay for it if you want to do more than the limited number of free gens you get. These sites tend to offer better models and more features than the ones before, but the features may be limited for free accounts or cost on-site currency. Sites that follow this paradigm include:

CivitAI - https://civitai.com/
Tensor.art - https://tensor.art/
SeaArt.ai - https://www.seaart.ai/ai-tools
PixAI - https://pixai.art/

Paid Only

Some gen sites require a paid account. Of those the best quality one is NovelAI. NovelAI is unique in that they create their own models which aren't available anywhere else. Currently their v4.5 models are Flux based, making them more capable than SDXL models. There are also tools like Character Reference and Vibe Transfer that let you take the character or style from other images, along with a whole suite of director's tools. If you're going to pay for gens it should be for NovelAI.

Prompting depends on what model you're using. A model is basically the AI's "brain" and different ones understand different things, just like human brains speaking different languages.

For uncensored anime and furry models, most are trained on Danbooru and e621 tags. That means the more you stick to those tags in your prompt the better the AI will understand it. More advanced models are adding more natural language understanding but currently that really only applies to NovelAI's v4.5 models.

Regarding getting the most quality like the keywords in the negatives you mentioned, different models are trained with different quality tags. The best SDXL models currently are NoobAI based, and you can see the documentation of the NoobAI quality tags at https://huggingface.co/Laxhar/noobai-XL-1.0

The model creators recommend the following:

Prompts

Prompt Prefix:

masterpiece, best quality, newest, absurdres, highres, safe,

Negative Prompt:

nsfw, worst quality, old, early, low quality, lowres, signature, username, logo, bad hands, mutated hands, mammal, anthro, furry, ambiguous form, feral, semi-anthro

Of course you can change that as you please, like putting "nsfw" in the positives instead of the negatives for an uncensored gen and the same with anthro/furry for a furry gen.

Hope that helps you and anyone else who sees the thread! Please feel free to ask if you have any specific questions. Although there is a #gen-help channel on the e6ai Discord, it's nice to see public help here that anyone can access without having to join a Discord or anything.
