breast shot

A close cropped shot of a character's breasts.

Typically a breast shot will depict the lower third of a character's face (their chin and mouth) to the bottom of the breasts or the area of chest just below the breasts. Alternatively, the breast shot may range from the shoulders to the upper abdomen (roughly cropped around the navel). Some breast shots may be even closer cropped, where the breasts are cut off by the frame of the image.

There are also less common ways of depicting a breast shot, such as a shot that is extremely close up to one or both of a character's breasts (this could potentially be seen in a macro or micro scenario.

Tagging Notes
  • If the image depicts a character's entire torso, but excludes most or all of the character's face, use torso shot instead
  • If the image depicts the character's entire face, use bust portrait instead
  • This tag can also be used for close cropped shots of big teats
