flash emanata

Emanata formed by a series of sharp, jagged spikes radiating outwards in an arc or circular pattern. The two most common uses of flash emanata are:

  • A character or object hitting or striking something or someone, emanating from the impact point
  • A character expressing shock or surprise, or otherwise having a sudden reaction to something, usually shown emanating from the character's head

Not to be confused with

  • tremble_spikes - While flash emanata may be constructed out of shaky lines, it is rarely used to emphasize trembling.
