create alias director_hickory (7) -> hickory (0)
create alias director_hjak (4) -> hjak (0)
create alias director_kataplas (1) -> kataplas (0)
create alias director_makeone (2) -> makeone (0)
create alias director_om3ga (12) -> om3ga_(director) (0)

Reason: Some director tags were created in not-uniform way, so that they don't follow the xxx_(director) rule of thumb.
It's much more convenient to search directors through thier names, without having to type "director_" in the searchbar first each time

what are you going to do about something like "director_dog"? one main reason for people to use that naming convention is to avoid conflicts with other tags. you can't rename "director_dog" to "dog" and change the type to director because that's already used. okay, so there isn't a "director_dog", but there is a "director_cougar" and "director_sunshine".

it would actually make more sense to go in the other direction and enforce the "director_whatever" naming convention (not that i'd be in favor of it). doesn't seem worth it to make people change their tags just to avoid typing a couple characters and you'd either have to force people to change their actual director name or allow exceptions anyway.

What are you talking about? This is exactly the reason why xyz_(director) tag format should be used and enforced!
Nobody on e621 uses "artist_xyz", because it's simply wrong and redundant - they use "xyz_(artist)" instead.

Same situation here - when a director name might conflict with other word, tag already in use, then you just simply slap "_(director)" onto it and voila (in your example, it's just "dog_(director)" ).
Already overwhelming majority of director tags here use "xyz" and "xyz_(director)" formatting, so these scarse "director_xyz" should simply be adjusted by the BUR.
Nobody has to actually go to every tagged picture, and change the tag manually. That's what the BUR is for.
